Unlocking The Truth is made up of pre-teens
The heavy metal band Unlocking The Truth, formed by three pre-teen boys, was interviewed on CNN this week. The boys talked about their love for heavy metal and their rise to fame.
Famous after a viral video (watch below) in which the boys perform a show in Times Square in New York, the trio are currently in seventh grade. In an interview with Paper magazine, drummer Jarad Dawkins comments: “Heavy Metal is in our blood, it’s what we like to do. It’s the music that cheers us up when we’re down, it’s what makes us release emotions.”
