The O'Keefe Music Foundation , famous for its interpretations of rock and metal classics, has just released an unusual version of "Break Stuff," a hit by Limp Bizkit . The energetic and chaotic cover is performed by Zoë Franziska , an 11-year-old vocalist, who transforms the aggressive nu-metal lyrics into rhymes about parties, chocolate cakes, and, of course, chainsaws.
Founded to offer free music education, the O'Keefe Music Foundation is a US organization that promotes musical learning for children and teenagers. The institution raises funds through the success of cover songs by children's and youth groups.
In the production of this version of "Break Stuff," the children starred in fun and chaotic scenes, maintaining the intensity of the original song. Concrete blocks, flamethrowers, chainsaws – but all in a controlled environment. Despite the apparent anarchy, the recording had specialized supervisors to ensure the safety of the filming.
In addition to this work, O'Keefe has already produced other impressive covers of songs by bands such as Slipknot , Korn , and Sepultura . Each interpretation maintains the essence of the original songs, but also incorporates creative touches thanks to the energy and talent of the young musicians.
