Kevin Clark , the child actor who played drummer Freddy "Spazzy McGee" Jones in the movie School of Rock , died at age 32 after being hit by a car while riding his bicycle.
Clark was cycling in Chicago when a car struck him at 1:20 a.m. The 20-year-old driver was arrested for questioning and later released, according to TMZ .
Despite paramedics attending to him and taking him to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, the actor was pronounced dead at 2:04 am.
School of Rock was Kevin Clark's only film, but the actor continued to play in several local bands in Chicago, including the most recent one called Jess Bess and the Intentions , which had its first show last Saturday, the 22nd.
