The musician's debut album features 13 unreleased tracks.

Kerry King , From Hell I Rise , this Friday, the 17th. It features 13 tracks recorded with producer Josh Wilbur Lamb of God for some time .

In anticipation of the release, Kerry King commented during a recent interview with Metal Hammer about the sound of the new album, saying that it's an extension of what he did in Slayer .

“If I were ever going to try something different, I think that would be the time. But no, I really don’t have the desire to do anything like that. If I wasn’t in Slayer, I’d be a fan of the band. So, yeah, I think it’s an extension of Slayer. A lot of people will think it could have been our next album. Maybe 80%, maybe exactly what I’m putting into it. In my eyes, I think it’s a definite extension, a continuation of Repentless , for sure.”

The band's full lineup features big names like Death Angel Mark Osegueda , longtime Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph , former Hellyeah Kelly Sanders , and former Machine Head and Vio-lence guitarist Phil Demmel .
