Biffy Clyro beat Iron Maiden to win the award for Best British Band

Last Thursday, the 21st, the Kerrang! Awards , an annual awards ceremony founded by the British magazine Kerrang! The event brought together the biggest rock artists, with winners including Foo Fighters , Biffy Clyro , and Corey Taylor .

The band led by Dave Grohl received two awards: Best International Live Performance and Best International Band. Meanwhile, Biffy Clyro beat Royal Blood and Iron Maiden to win the award for Best British Band.

Joe Perry , guitarist and co-founder of Aerosmith , received the Kerrang! Inspiration Award, which was presented by his Hollywood Vampires , Johnny Depp . Black Sabbath was represented by Tony Iommi , who was recognized as a founder of heavy metal as a genre.

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor received the Kerrang! Legend award, while Code Orange was named International Breakthrough Act.
