Kelly Clarkson Aerosmith 's 1988 hit "Angel" during the Kellyoke on her show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The singer and songwriter, born in Texas, gained prominence in 2002 when she won the first season of the American Idol program.

Kelly has already performed several other rock covers such as “Dream On” by Aerosmith, “Sad But True” by Metallica , “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake , “It's My Life” by Bon Jovi and “Black Hole Sun” by Soundgarden .

Kelly Clarkson's career path

Her debut single, “A Moment Like This,” quickly reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the best-selling single of the year in the US. Among her worldwide hits are “Miss Independent” and “Because Of You,” both with multi-platinum, platinum, and gold certifications.

Recently, Clarkson had her mark imprinted as the 2,733rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her work on The Kelly Clarkson Show earned her three consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host.
