Keith Richards spoke about the possibility of having holograms at Rolling Stones .
In an interview with Apple Music¹ , when asked if there would be holograms at the band's shows in the future, the guitarist replied: “I certainly wouldn't rule it out. I'm sure it will happen. Do I want that? That's another thing. I don't know if I want to be around that long, man. But at the same time, it won't depend on me, will it?”
Richards wasn't the first of the Stones to comment on this topic. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal , Mick Jagger ABBA concert using holograms: "You can have a posthumous business now, can't you? You can do a posthumous tour. The technology has really evolved since the ABBA thing."
Led Zeppelin with holograms
Another band that considered using holograms was Led Zeppelin . Jimmy Page revealed that, because he and the rest of the band disagreed, "the project didn't go ahead."
Despite the technology generating some controversy, the guitarist thought the idea might work for the group.
