Legendary music producer Keith Olsen passed away today, March 10th. The American was remembered by many for his contribution to a series of albums vital to the world of rock, as well as receiving tributes from members of major bands such as Scorpions and Whitesnake .
Fleetwood Mac 's 1975 self-titled album , Ozzy Osbourne No Rest for the Wicked (1988) , Foreigner 's Double Vision , Sammy Hagar 's Three Lock Box and Man in Motion 's Night Ranger . Keith also produced one of the biggest hits of the 80s, "Jessie's Girl".
The lead singer behind the hit, Rick Springfield, even remembered his friend and collaborator via Twitter : “He could be a bit tricky in the studio, but that was part of his talent. Trusting his instincts when some tricky artist like me would say, ‘I don’t think this works.’ He didn’t produce all those hits for all those musicians for no reason. He had a golden ear and helped so many people reach their potential.”
