Katy Perry took a chance with a delicate cover of "All You Need Is Love," a timeless classic by The Beatles , and is now reaping great rewards for charity with the song.
Originally released for a GAP commercial, the song was exclusively released on Spotify and raised US$100,000 (equivalent to over R$565,000 at the current exchange rate) from the company, which donated one dollar for each stream of the song.
The action is part of the Giving Tuesday , held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States to encourage acts of charity, and benefits the NGO Baby 2 Baby, created to support children living in poverty in the country.
