Kataklysm , a Canadian death metal band, released the single "The Rabbit Hole" last Thursday, the 22nd. The track comes with a visualizer music video created by Ingo Sporl at Hard Media.

Vocalist Maurizio Iacono commented that the track deals with all the craziness that's been happening around us lately: "'The Rabbit Hole' is the band's first standalone single since the classic track 'Iron Will'. While the world spins out of control and people search for purpose and truth, we feel that questioning these things is an important thing to do."

“There’s a lot of noise and distortion these days, but always trust your instincts and what feels right versus what’s forcefully fed to you. So why not turn those thoughts into music? While we wait for the next album, we decided to release this heavyweight. Share and enjoy!”

Guitarist JF Dagenais , a member of the band, produced, mixed, and mastered the single, which was recorded in early 2025. “The Rabbit Hole” also features Clemens Wijers , who created the ambient sound effects and synthesizer section for the track.
