Justin Timberlake sings on the new Foo Fighters album.

Dave Grohl reveals collaboration

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl revealed that the band's upcoming album, Concrete and Gold , will feature vocals by Justin Timberlake on one of the tracks.

Grohl said the collaboration came about after the musicians had met several times in the recording studio:

“We used to drink whiskey in the parking lot. He’s really, really cool. The night before his last recording session, he asked, ‘Can I sing on your album? I don’t want to push it, but I’d like to tell my friends about it.’”.

Timberlake recorded backing vocals for a track. Grohl commented on the performance: "He nailed it. This guy's going places!"

Concrete And Gold will be released on September 15th and also features Paul McCartney, who plays drums on one of the tracks. See more details about the album here.
