Judas Priest will begin recording their new album in 2026, says Ian Hill.

Bassist says successor to 2024's 'Invincible Shield' may be on the way.

Judas Priest will enter the studio next year to begin recording their new album, the successor to 2024's Invincible Shield

In a new interview with Audio Ink Radio , bassist Ian Hill said [via Blabbermouth ]: “There are plans to go back into the studio in the new year. So, we don’t have release dates. It’s a long process. We’re also not in a rush, so it will take a while. But the recording will happen, it seems, next year.”

Regarding writing new music, he said: “I know Richie [ Faulkner
Judas guitarist ] has started. He has some ideas in common, yes. So, we're ahead.” And about the shows, Ian Hill made it clear that it's something that will also happen: “Well, that will happen too. Obviously, if you have an album, you have to tour with it. So, yes, that will happen too.”
