Judas Priest has released "Crown Of Horns," the third single from the band's upcoming album, Invincible Shield .
So far, the band has released the singles, “Pannic Attack” and “Trial By Fire” .
“The components of that song aren’t that unusual. But it’s the way you put the arrangements together,” shares vocalist Rob Halford in an exclusive interview ( via UCR ).
“We’ve never been a formulaic band, but when we move towards a texture that we feel comfortable with – or it’s an experience that we’re just reimagining – then you hope to find something extra within that constructive idea, to give it a new look.”
The singer admits that the results surprise even his ears — but for a different reason. “God, the band sounds so young,” he laughs. “It sounds like a bunch of young metalheads banging hard. It’s great, 50 years later, to still have all those important elements, the passion, the motivation, the energy and the enthusiasm. It hasn’t diminished one bit.”
