In an interview with HuffPost Canada Music, vocalist Rob Halford spoke about a possible collaboration with Lady Gaga. Halford said he met the singer during a show in San Diego and that the two agreed to get in touch to discuss a joint project.
“I simply love everything this woman represents. First of all, her voice is extraordinary. I love her voice. She is a great artist, plays the piano very well, and is a great composer. And she is a hope for many people in the world ,” said Halford.
Halford said that the singer even asked to make a special appearance on the band's last tour, Epitaph: "She called and said, 'Can I come on the motorcycle with Rob and we sing Hell Bent For Leather?'" Rob said he loved the idea, but in the end Gaga had to travel and couldn't participate.
