Headbangers worldwide are ecstatic about all the new releases in the metal world. But it's Invincible Shield , the nineteenth album from heavy metal veterans Judas Priest , that's shaking up the music charts. The British band's new album currently occupies the 2nd place on the UK weekly album chart (via Official Charts ), ahead of Eternal Sunshine by American pop singer Ariana Grande .

The Official Charts Company is a UK organization that compiles singles, albums, and music videos, selecting the most accessed and listened to each week. The selections are based on CD and vinyl sales, downloads, and audio and video streams. Previously, Judas Priest had already occupied two important positions on the album chart, with *British Steel * at number 4 and 2018's * Fire Power

Columbia Records label , the new album features 11 tracks, plus 3 bonus tracks, and wins over old fans with Rob Halford , as well as new fans with its high-quality sound. Regarding the recording of the album, Halford has commented that it was a special process for the group , which may have contributed to the positive outcome and excellent reception from the public.

New tour

Having secured their place as the first band to have an album chart 50 years apart, Judas Priest is not only producing, but also on the road . The Invincible Shield Tour kicked off in Glasgow, Scotland (via Loud Magazine ) on March 11th.

The band's upcoming shows will continue across Europe, passing through the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, and other countries, culminating in the United States. Additionally, the English groups Saxon and Uriah Heep will also be performing on the band's Iberian Peninsula tour.
