Guitarist KK Downing performed alongside Judas Priest The performance took place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame , which was hosted by Alice Cooper . The musician was part of the British band between 1970 and 1992 and between 1996 and 2011.
This was also the first time KKDowning performed on the same stage as his replacement , Richie Faulkner . The show itself featured a medley of "You've Got Another Thing Comin'", "Breaking The Law", and "Living After Midnight".
“They are electrifying on stage and one of the most impactful live bands in rock and roll history. Priest has proudly carried the banner of hard rock and heavy metal for something like 50 years, never wavering or following trends or pretending to be anything other than exactly what they are. They are flying high tonight. Well deserved and long overdue,” said Cooper while introducing Judas Priest (via Freak ).
The awards have previously honored big names such as Duran Duran , Eurythmics , Lionel Richie , Eminem , and Dolly Parton .
