Even amidst numerous instruments, some voices don't disappear and, from time to time, stand out more than any other sound in a song. The voice of the Metal God, Rob Halford , is certainly one of them, and in this standalone version of the Judas Priest , "Painkiller," the reasons become even more obvious.
The idol, who turned 69 on the 25th, continues to impress to this day, being one of the best vocalists not only in heavy metal, but in all of music. And his practically supernatural ability accompanies him throughout Priest's discography, standing out in other songs with isolated vocals such as "Screaming for Vengeance" and "Riding on the Wind".
