Judas Priest: Firepower marks the band's highest chart position ever.

On March 9th, Judas Priest released their eighteenth studio album, Firepower.

Produced by Tom Allom and Andy Sneap , the album was very well received by fans, and the numbers confirm its popularity. Firepower was the band's best performance on the American music charts.

The band appeared in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, showing that it was the fifth best-selling album in the country in the week of its release, surpassing the sales figures of Redeemer of Souls (2014), which reached number six at the time.

Selling 49,000 copies, Firepower also propelled its single "Lightning Strike" to number 21 on the Mainstream Rock Songs chart. Check out Judas Priest's history on the Billboard 200 below:
