Amid so much uncertainty about the future of live shows worldwide , Hellfest announced its 2021 lineup, featuring big names, 90% of whom were headliners for the festival that was supposed to take place this year.

The headliners Deftones, System Of A Down, and Faith No More remain confirmed, and only 13 bands from the lineup had to drop out of the 2021 edition of the festival, according to an announcement made on social media. “Unfortunately, 13 bands from the 2020 edition will not be able to confirm their presence for 2021: Incubus, Mastodon, Infectious Groove, Thy Art Is Murder, Alter Bridge, BABYMETAL, Joyous Wolf, Unleashed , Meshuggah, The Black Dahlia Murder, Periphery, Body Count, and August Burns Red.”

To replace the bands, names like Puscifer, Dropkick Murphys, Northlane , and more were added. Other big names remain confirmed, such as Judas Priest, Korn, Mayhem, Opeth, Deep Purple, The Offspring, Sepultura, Obituary, Devin Townsend, Suicidal Tendencies, Killing Joke, Social Distortion, Steel Panther , and many more.
