Firepower arrives on March 9th.
Firepower , the new album from Judas Priest, is scheduled for release this Friday, March 9th. And, to further excite fans, the band has released a snippet of another song, titled "Children of the Sun". Listen below.
The band's eighteenth album will be released by Epic Records, and arrives four years after Redeemer Of Souls . The LP was recorded with longtime bandmate Tom Allom, British producer Andy Sneap, and sound engineer Mike Exeter, who has previously collaborated with Black Sabbath.
Previously, the group had already released three songs in their entirety: "Never The Heroes," "Firepower," and "Lightning Strike ," the latter accompanied by a music video.
Firepower promotional tour will be without guitarist Glenn Tipton due to the progression of Parkinson's disease, which he was diagnosed with a decade ago. Sneap will replace him.
