Judas Priest has decided to reconsider its decision to remove Andy Sneap from the band's 50th-anniversary tour. Earlier in the week, Priest had announced that they would go on the tour with only four members and that Sneap would remain only as a producer.
However, a new announcement revealed a change of decision:
“Hello metal maniacs… given everything that has happened after our recent announcement, we have unanimously decided to continue with our shows without any changes, with Rob , Ian , Richie , Scott , Andy and Glenn joining whenever possible. So we'll see you soon to celebrate 50 years of Judas Priest heavy metal together.”
Sneap had expressed his displeasure with Judas Priest's decision after the announcement. "Rob called me last Monday and said they wanted to continue as a quartet, which left me incredibly disappointed after all this time, but I respect the decision, as they obviously have a vision of how they want to conduct this."
The band will begin their 50th-anniversary celebration tour in March.
