In an interview with Spain's Mariskal Rock Rob Halford spoke about the progress of the new Judas Priest , saying that things are moving "slowly" but in a definite way.
Glenn Tipton 's presence on the project. Tipton was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease seven years ago and announced in 2018 that he would need to take a break from touring.
“Glenn can still play guitar,” said Rob Halford. “He plays differently, but he can still do it. He performed with us recently at Bloodstock and played 'Metal Gods,' 'Breaking The Law,' and 'Living After Midnight,' I think. He can do it. He’ll be on the next record. Anything he does is valuable. He’s very important.”
“He’s a member of Judas Priest, he’s still here. He’s still an important component of this band and what it represents, especially in the songwriting. He contributed intensely to the songs we have so far. And we will continue writing – we will continue sharing ideas,” he concluded.
