Judas Priest announces 50th anniversary box set with previously unreleased live version of "Hellion/Electric Eye"

A compilation featuring the band's complete discography includes rare items for collectors

Judas Priest has finally kicked off the celebrations for their 50-year career. In addition to a tour to mark five decades of existence , the band announced the release of a complete box set with 42 CDs.

The first sample in this collection is a previously unreleased live version of "Hellion/Electric Eye," recorded during the Fuel For Life tour in Houston in 1986. 

Called 50 Heavy Metal Years of Music , the box set will include rare items, with photos autographed by the band members, a numbered British Steel razor blade, a book, and posters.

According to Heavy Consequence , the collection includes the complete remastered discography, with previously unreleased live recordings and a rarities disc. The package includes a double anniversary vinyl titled Reflections with a special selection of tracks.
