Judas Priest archives all photos on Instagram and posts a mysterious message

The band posted a link that asks fans to register on their official website

Judas Priest archived all of their Instagram posts this Wednesday, the 10th, and replaced their profile picture with a black image.

The action was accompanied by a mysterious announcement, both in the band's bio and stories, containing a "coming soon" message and asking fans to register on the official Judas Priest website .

The link leads to a form to be filled out with your name, email address, country, and date of birth.

It is still unknown what the mysterious announcement from Judas Priest is about, but speculation includes possible news about a new studio album.

In March, guitarist Richie Faulkner announced that the band's next album was "almost complete ." At the time, he also commented on the project's sound: "It's a bit more progressive; it's a bit more musical, not experimental, but it has a few more riffs. There are more complexities, there are more solos, which I don't think is a bad thing as a guitarist."

Furthermore, the guitarist made it clear that the new album is not a continuation of Firepower (2018). In January, Halford explained that the project is expected to be released in 2024 .
