Judas Priest surprised fans during their performance at the Power Trip Festival, which took place in Indio, California, last Saturday, the 7th, when they announced their new album.

The news came at the beginning of the band's set, when they revealed that their new album, titled Invincible Shield , will be released on March 8, 2024. This will be the band's 19th studio album.

Invincible Shield will be the band's first album in six years, following Firepower (2018). The first single, "Panic Attack," will be released this Friday the 13th.

Judas Priest has been working on this album for several years. Guitarist Richie Faulkner commented during an interview with Heavy Consequence : “We’ve been working on an album for a while now. We had to pause for a while because of the lockdowns . We’re trying to finish it.”
