Judas Priest has announced a comic book inspired by their classic album Screaming For Vengeance , in partnership with Z2 Comics.

The book, written by Rantz Hoseley and Neil Kleid , and illustrated by artist Christopher Mitten , is scheduled to be released in July in both paperback and hardcover versions.

In Brazil, the book will be released in November by the publisher Estética Torta in standard American size (17x26cm), with color pages, and will be available in two formats: paperback and hardcover. The hardcover version will include three exclusive posters and bookmarks.

The comic will tell the following story: “500 years from now, a ring of cities orbits above the surface of a dead world, controlled by a ruling elite who maintain power through manipulation and brutality. When a naive engineer inadvertently threatens the status quo of this elite with his scientific discovery: a heliotrope, he is betrayed by those he trusted and banished to the dead planet. There, it's a battle for survival, and he must choose between accepting his new life in exile… or Screaming For Vengeance .”

The comic book is already available for pre-order on the official Z2 Comics website for US$24.99 – approximately R$120 at the current exchange rate. Here in Brazil, pre-orders are also available for R$99.90.
