Former members of Judas Priest and Megadeth play together

Tim "Ripper" Owens, former vocalist of Judas Priest and Iced Earth, joined Glen Drover (ex-Megadeth, King Diamond, Testament, Eidolon), Shawn Drover (Megadeth, Act Of Defiance, Eidolon) and Adrian Robichaud (Eidolon) to play classic metal in Montreal, Canada.

Glen, Shawn, and Adrian have a 10-year history in the band Eidolon. “Shawn is my brother, and Tim and I have been friends for a while ,” Glen told The Cornwall Seeker. “So when we got together, we needed a bassist, and we called Adrian without thinking. The chemistry is there, and that’s really important when you only play shows occasionally. I live in Windsor, and the others live in Atlanta. We can’t spend a week rehearsing. We need people we can trust.”

Regarding the Night Of Metal shows, Glen said, “Fans can identify with both the music and the members of our band. Whether we play Megadeth, or Judas Priest, or some other classic like Ozzy Osbourne, we're good at what we do and it will be a great show.”

Owens recorded two albums with Judas Priest, Jugulator in 1997 and Demolition in 2011. Glen left Megadeth in 2007, being replaced by Chris Broderick, who previously played in Nevermore. Shawn joined Megadeth in 2004, replacing Nick Menza.
