Following the news of Mick Mars ' lawsuit against his Mötley Crüe , it's inevitable that fans and music industry colleagues will decide which side to support. In the case of Neal Schon , guitarist for Journey , he's siding with Mick.
According to Blabbermouth , Schon shared his opinion on the legal battle with his fellow musicians on social media. After declaring himself part of "Mick's team," the musician explained: "Considering his health problems and, obviously, the attitude he brings to the band with his guitar playing, he didn't deserve this," he wrote.

According to documents obtained by TMZ , the other band members were responsible for a "unilateral decision" regarding Mars' departure. Furthermore, the band's lawyer allegedly implied that Mars should "be grateful" for receiving this portion of the band's profits in the current situation.
Mick Mars accused bassist Nikki Sixx of manipulation through "gaslighting" and said the band is only using pre-recorded tracks on their current tour.
