Journey , one of the most iconic bands of the 80s, announced this Thursday, the 6th, their farewell tour. Titled Final Frontier , the tour is scheduled to begin in early 2026.
Billed as "A Special Night with Journey," the first North American leg of the tour will feature 60 dates, beginning on February 28 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and ending on July 2 in Laredo, Texas.
Neal Schon , guitarist and founder of Journey, commented: “This tour is our heartfelt thank you to the fans who have been with us every step of the way — through every song, every era, every good and bad moment. We are giving it our all with a completely new production — the hits, the lesser-known songs, the energy, the spectacle. It’s a complete celebration of the music that has brought us together.”
“As a founding member, I carry the Journey torch to this day, wherever I go. The feeling and spirit of the band will always remain. Although this marks a farewell to a powerful chapter of the 'journey' we shared, I want everyone to know that it's not over. The music still burns brightly within me and there are new creative horizons ahead. This tour is both a thank you and the beginning of what's to come,” he concluded.
According to the press release, it will be a “special and unprecedented night with a stage production across North America, showcasing their catalog of chart-topping hits, including 'Don't Stop Believin', 'Any Way You Want It', 'Faithfully' and 'Lights' and many more, in a celebration of the legacy, love and fans who made it all possible.”
