Josh Rand , guitarist for Stone Sour , is on a new musical project. Alongside vocalist Casandra Carson of Paralandra, the musician officially launched The LIFE Project this Friday, the 23rd, with the single "The Nothingness".

With powerful vocals, powerful percussion, and a bold melody, the song showcases the guitarist's new musical directions and the excellent synergy of the band members in the studio. According to Loudwire , Rand has been working on the project for many months and should have around 12 songs written, which should be finalized soon with Casandra's arrival.

Currently, Stone Sour is on an indefinite hiatus. The band's last album was Hydrograd , from 2017, followed by the live release of Hello, You Bastards , in 2019. "I feel like Stone Sour has completed its cycle," commented Corey Taylor last December , "We've put the band on the shelf now. Everyone's kind of doing their own projects now."
