Josh Homme 's children , the lead singer of Queens Of The Stone Age , have filed for legal protection against their father, claiming he is "abusive" and that they are afraid of him.
Ten-year-old Orrin Wolf – both children from Homme's former relationship with Brody Dalle of The Distillers – claim their father is "creepy" and fear for their safety. According to TMZ , Orrin reported a recent incident in which his father even touched his private parts.
Furthermore, according to his own children, the musician has drunk alcohol in the car while driving with them and even, on one occasion, hit Orrin on the head and threw objects at him. The aggression is also psychological, with Homme calling his son fat in a derogatory way.
As if that weren't enough, the children revealed that Homme threatened, in front of them, to murder their mother's current boyfriend, Brody Dalle. Wolf, the youngest son, says that he refers to Brody only with insults and that he is afraid to go to his father's house.
If the restraining order is granted, Josh Homme would be required to stay at least 91 meters away from them and the family dog.
It's worth remembering that controversies involving Josh Homme are nothing new. A few years ago, the musician kicked a photographer during a performance , and his ex-wife Brody even obtained a restraining order against him. At the time, she claimed that he had shown up drunk at her house and headbutted her after their divorce, which took place around November 2019.
Contacted by TMZ , the musician's lawyer, Susan Wiesner, commented confidently on the new lawsuit: "Ms. Dalle has previously brought these allegations to the police, the DCFS [Department of Children and Family Safety], and the presiding judge over the Family Court, all of whom have refused to take any action based on these spurious accusations."
Josh Homme, attempting to resolve the issue, at the time requested a restraining order against Brody Dalle, alleging that she was trying to have him arrested for violating his restraining order.
