Josh Freese has confirmed that he will be joining Weezer for their upcoming shows in South America, including the show in Brazil next Sunday, November 2nd, at Parque do Ibirapuera.

The drummer posted a photo on Instagram showing a drum kit with the Weezer logo and wrote, "Getting ready to go to South America with some old friends." In his Instagram stories, the drummer wrote that he was "excited to go to South America with Weezer."

It's worth remembering that Josh Freese participated in the 2008 album Raditude , having been in the band between 2007 and 2012. This lineup will be repeated during the tour, with Josh on drums, while drummer and founder Patrick Wilson will be playing guitar.

After being fired from the Foo Fighters , Freese will also return to Nine Inch Nails for the North American tour, which begins in February 2026.
