As promised, Josh Freese shared a list of 10 possible reasons why he was fired from the Foo Fighters .
The drummer posted a statement on his social media last Friday, the 16th, claiming to have received the news by phone. According to Freese, no specific reason was mentioned for his dismissal, which led him to jokingly state that he would create a list of "10 possible reasons why Josh Freese was kicked out of the Foo Fighters".
Ironically, the drummer shared the complete list of those reasons this Monday, the 19th:
10) I once whistled “My Hero” for an entire week on tour.

7) Metronome precision on drums considered “soulless.”
6) I demanded to start every rehearsal with a 20-minute shower to the sound of cowbells.
5) I never tried to grow a beard.
4) I didn't go to the studio because Mercury was in retrograde.
3) I promised Noodles he could be the 4th guitarist.
2) I refused to play unless I received a Ouija board and nunchaku after every show.
1) The whole thing with the poodles was getting too much.
in on the joke, Offspring guitarist Noodles commented on the post saying, "But you PROMISED!" in reference to reason number 3. To date, the Foo Fighters have not commented on Josh Freese's dismissal.
