“Why I Dream” will be on Jordan Rudess’ new album, Wired For Madness

The official lyric video for Jordan Rudess has just been released. The song is part of the keyboardist's new solo album, Wired For Madness , which will be released on April 19th.

Rudess recruited vocalist James LaBrie and guitarist John Petrucci to be on the album. Other collaborators include Marco Minnemann, Vinnie Moore, Guthrie Govan, Joe Bonamassa, and Elijah Wood .

“It’s not a concept album, but the title track has a story that I thought about while writing it,” said Rudess. “The idea was about a guy who wants to transform himself into a partially computerized and robotic human being. He wants to upgrade his mental and physical capabilities.”
