Jordan Rudess, keyboardist for Dream Theater , releases the song "Embers," created in collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence platform, Moises. The track was made especially for the Moises Jam Sessions .
Rudess demonstrates how using the Moises AI platform can streamline the music creation process. The track "Embers" is already available for users to create their own versions and enter a contest to win a lifetime subscription to the platform.
“The inspiration for creating this track coincided with a project I was asked to do for the Moises app, a technology that can transform standard audio files into separate tracks while simultaneously displaying chords, lyrics, and much more,” Rudess stated on his website .
Jordan Rudess's upcoming solo album and the use of Artificial Intelligence
This song will be part of Jordan Rudess' new solo album, scheduled for release in late 2024. In this case, it is independent of any AI platform.
Regarding the music, the keyboardist noted: “'Embers', the initial spark of my upcoming album, sets the tone for my latest solo musical journey. This track captures a smoother vibe, different from the rest of the progressive songs on the album. For those who enjoy progressive music out there, fear not, this album encompasses my entire musical expression and you will have your Polymers and Snarling Pigs .”
In addition to his solo album, the musician is in the studio with Dream Theater. After 15 years away from the band, drummer Mike Portnoy is back in the studio with the group.
