The album will be the first of his solo career
Jonathan Davis, frontman of Korn, recently revealed that he is preparing his first solo album, and during his appearance on the podcast 2 Hours With Matt Pinfield, he revealed the album's release date and plans for the band's future.
Davis confirmed that the album will be released on May 25th by Sumerian Records and is titled Black Labyrinth . "I actually finished the album last night. I've been working on mixing the songs and I finished the last track yesterday ," he said on the show.
While awaiting the release of his album, the vocalist is preparing to embark on a solo tour that will feature his single "What It Is" in the setlist. The track was recorded for the soundtrack of the film American Satan, released in October 2017 in the United States.
The musician also revealed that Korn has been talking for years about a covers album: “We’ll probably do it… We’re still talking and discussing which songs we could record – it’s a process that’s been going on for a while. But whenever we can, we play some songs. One day they will be officially released.”
