A new horror film is about to hit theaters, and the villain role has been given to none other than Jonathan Davis . Directed by Joshua Petrino , the film, called The Devil's Tree , has been in production since 2013 but has faced a series of obstacles.

According to Loudwire , Davis's character is simply called The Pet and is a killer who finds killing people "an endless comedy." Regarding the Korn , the film's director states: "Jonathan did a great job as our villain. He really helped us create a memorable character and was a lot of fun working with. He was perfect for the role."

Despite high expectations, Joshua Petrino clarifies that The Devil's Tree "is not a film for everyone," but cited films such as Clerks (1994) and Hatchet (2006), as well as the comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia as similar works.

“After visiting a tree rumored to be a portal to hell, a group of friends decides to throw a disastrous party from which, inexplicably, they realize they can't mentally force themselves to leave,” reads the film's synopsis. “Shortly after this revelation, torment and massacre begin at the hands of a supernatural killer with a sadistic sense of humor.”

A clip from the film has been released, showing one of the characters having his tongue cauterized by a red-hot iron. The film still has no scheduled release date.
