The album is expected to be released in 2018
Korn frontman Jonathan Davis revealed in a Facebook Q&A that he will release his first solo album in 2018.
Davis explains that Korn will be on hiatus while he finishes his album. “I started it in 2008. It’s the JDSFA album, but JDSFA doesn’t exist anymore. Unfortunately, since Shane’s [Gibson, Korn’s touring guitarist and member of Davis’s band Simply Fucking Amazings] death, the band broke up and now it’s just JD.”
In addition to his work with Korn, Davis has released several solo singles and been part of projects like Killbot and JDSFA, but this will be his first solo studio album.
“I’m very excited. I’ve been working on these songs for 10 years and it’s turning into something incredible. So there will be an album coming out next year. I’ve already recorded videos for some of the tracks and the tour will also be next year.”
