Jonathan Davis

Jonathan Davis releases snippets of all the songs from his new album.

His debut album features thirteen original tracks

Jonathan Davis, frontman of Korn, recently revealed some details about his first solo studio album.

Black Labyrinth will be released on May 25th by Sumerian Records, and its cover art and tracklist have been revealed. The musician has also made available snippets of all thirteen songs that will be part of his debut.

Davis began promoting his work when he released the single "What It Is" for the soundtrack of the film American Satan , which also had a music video. With his project started in 2007, the singer worked on the lyrics and recordings all these years during Korn's tours. " I've held onto this material for a long time. I'm going to pull the fans in another direction now."

In a statement to the press, Davis cited some recurring themes in the album: religion, consumerism, apathy, and the Ganzfeld experiment, a technique used in the field of parapsychology to test extrasensory perception in individuals.

"With all this nonsense happening in the world and everyone glued to their phones, this will get us out of it. There's a certain level of understanding and clarity that I want to achieve."

The singer will go on tour in April to begin promoting his solo work.
