Sex Pistols' Johnny Rotten is spotted wearing a t-shirt supporting Donald Trump, sparking controversy.

"Johnny Rotten has become John Deplorable," says a tweet about the photos.

Sex Pistols fans : musician Johnny Rotten , 64, was spotted wearing a t-shirt in support of President Donald Trump , with the classic slogan: "Make America Great Again."

Amid comments claiming that Rotten's political stance only makes him even more punk, and of course, various insults and allegations that the artist was never a leader or idol to anyone, the United States focused yesterday, the 29th, on the first presidential debate between Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden , which only further inflamed opinions regarding the photos.

In June of this year, Rotten was the subject of several news outlets for a very different reason, and undoubtedly one that garnered a much more friendly reaction than his support for Trump, when he stated in an interview that he had given up his career to fully care for his wife, Nora Foster , who suffers from Alzheimer's.
