The singer and songwriter from São Paulo, Johnny Monster, is releasing two alternative versions of his single "Yin Yang" today, the 23rd . In addition to an acoustic version, the highlight is a remix by musician and composer Alf Sá ( Rumbora , ex- Raimundos ).
“Yin Yang” is a pop-rock song with a psychedelic aesthetic, reminiscent of the Beatles and Britpop. The song, which originally appeared on the album Futuro Perplexo (2022) , now has an alternative version by Alf Sá, who brought new synthesizer textures without losing the song's psychedelic character. Johnny also anticipates that the track will also have a music video, which will be released soon.
The album Futuro Perplexo was released at the beginning of the year and featured special appearances by artists who are partners of the singer, such as Clemente Nascimento , from the band Inocentes , the actor Eriberto Leão , and Bianca Jhordão , from the band Leela. The music was also reimagined by Rod Krieger in Futuro Reflexo , a project in which various artists made covers of songs from Johnny Monster's album.
Yin Yang is a release on the ForMusic Records label.
