This Friday, the 15th, Johnny Monster arrives with the music video for his new single " Onde Deveria Estar " (Where I Should Be), an acoustic rock song about making the most of our time on Earth.

Directed by Ricardo Yamamoto , the music video was filmed in Martin Luther King Park, surrounded by nature, to bring a more optimistic and brighter atmosphere to the claustrophobic context of the song's lyrics.

“The lyrics reflect on making the most of your time, of your life. And especially on listening to yourself, being attentive to your own instincts and feelings, and not depending on the approval of others. It also reflects on the illusion of total happiness, acknowledging that we always experience highs and lows,” shares Johnny Monster about the track, which was written during a critical period of isolation due to COVID-19.

“Onde Deveria Estar” is part of the upcoming album Futuro Perplexo , and follows the upbeat, 80s-sounding song “ Pra Lembrar De Você ” a collaboration with Bianca Jhordão from Leela . This is the fifth single released by Johnny Monster, who promises a lot of versatility on his new album, including a song where actor Eriberto Leão sings with him about flying saucers.
