Johnny Monster celebrates the release of his new album A Nova Era Do Só Você (2023) with a special show in São Paulo. The performance will take place this Friday, December 8th, at Estúdio Aurora, in Pinheiros. Tickets are already available for purchase via Sympla .

Recorded in the same studio during the pandemic, the project by the São Paulo-based singer-songwriter revives the organic sound of folk rock, influenced by musicians from the 1960s and 1970s such as Raul Seixas, Pet Sounds , and Almir Sater . The 10-track work is, to date, Johnny's most daring, conceptual, and powerful.

As the backing band, the Nova Era Do Só Você features Guga Almeida (drums), Júlio Pelloso (cello), Thiago Moretti (violins), Helena Hennemann (backing vocals), and Carlos Eduardo Freitas (bass and production).

Also participating in the evening will be singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mini Lamers. Born in Santos and based in São Paulo, the LGBT artist is promoting her first solo album, Luta ou Fuga (2023). Produced by Naná Rizzini and Tejo Damasceno, the project explores profound themes such as fear of abandonment, freedom and resistance through acoustic and electronic elements.
