“It’s really special, it was a beautiful meeting of artistic souls, everything was fluid, connected, and we had a lot of fun in the process. The images are beautiful, with a lot of plasticity, atmosphere, beauty,” the artist revealed on social media. Filmed in black and white at Tiny Bar Downtown, the music video features model Yaya Pagh . Both the song and the video have a darker aspect than the first single “Os Pássaros”.
“Cidade Grande” is featured on the new album A Nova Era Do Só Você , which will be released on October 27th via ForMusic Records . In a press release, Johnny said: “The project explores a different 'Brazilian psychedelic folk country rock' line from other works, where the tracks had varied directions, mixing styles. This time, it's almost like a 'concept' album, all the songs really complement each other.”
