Bringing back the 80s, Johnny Monster and Bianca Jhordão , from Leela , revel in UV colors and neon effects in the music video for their new song, "Pra Lembrar de Você" (To Remember You).
The danceable single features references to bands like Blondie , Human League , and ABBA , and reunites the duo of friends who have been musical companions since the 90s, each with their respective bands ( Rip Monsters and Polux ).
To create the playful and nostalgic music video for the song, Johnny Monster says that he and Bianca spent a whole day filming at photographer Rui Mendes , with several costume and makeup changes that enrich the video's visuals. "It was almost like a Formula 1 experience, where the drivers stop to refuel, change tires, etc.," he jokes. "The result is a video full of nuances and rich in textures and colors; Bianca and I are very proud of it!"
Johnny Monster proves his versatility in “Pra Lembrar De Você,” which is very different from the singles “ Veneno ” and “ Até O Fim ,” and reinforces his promise that this will be “the most diverse album of his career.” “We’ll have actor Eriberto Leão singing with me on a track about flying saucers. In addition, there are great musicians involved in the project and some partners co-writing some of the songs,” he revealed. Check out the music video for “Pra Lembrar De Você”:
