Johnny Depp caused laughter in court when answering questions about drug use with Marilyn Manson during a hearing about the defamation lawsuit stemming from his divorce from Amber Heard .

While Depp is seeking damages for Amber having signed an article about her experience as a survivor of domestic violence in the Washington Post , even without mentioning her ex-husband's name, the actress has returned the lawsuit for "harassment" suffered during the relationship, during which Depp was allegedly aggressive due to alcohol and drug abuse, according to Amber's defense.

For this reason, the trial focuses on Johnny Depp Marilyn Manson 's name came up during the actor's testimony on Thursday, the 21st, with screenshots of messages exchanged between the two presented to the court as evidence of Depp's alcohol and drug abuse.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly , Amber Heard's lawyer asked Depp a specific question about drug use with Manson, in an attempt to confirm the actor's use of pills alongside his friend.

“Yes, we drank together and did cocaine together a few times,” Johnny Depp replied. “Hm, I once gave Marilyn Manson a pill to make him stop talking so much.” The answer caused laughter among those present in the audience.

Last year, Marilyn Manson was accused by several women of psychological, physical, and sexual abuse, including his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood and ex-girlfriend  Esmé Bianco .
