The band John Wayne has announced a special show for January 29th at Fabrique Club in São Paulo. The performance will be a tribute to Fabio Figueiredo , aka Fah, the band's first vocalist and one of its founders, who passed away in early 2021 due to complications from COVID-19.

The show, for which tickets are already on sale , will feature 16 vocalists from the Brazilian heavy metal scene, including friends and inspirations for Fah. "The main objective of this event is to honor, record, and immortalize the life and career of Fabio Figueiredo, one of the protagonists and driving forces of the Brazilian metalcore scene, who led John Wayne for almost a decade," the band emphasizes in a statement released to the press.

The presentation will last approximately two hours and will cover John Wayne's entire career, mainly featuring songs from Fah's era, from the albums Tempestade and Dois Lados . Before the show, there will be a DJ set by Thiago DJ , a friend of Fah, who will play several classic metalcore and deathcore from the 2000s, the period of the genre that most influenced the former vocalist.

The guests are: Dijjy Samsa, Mi Vieira, Milton Aguiar, Caio Macbeserra, Bruno Figueiredo, Yuri Lemes, Paulo Rocha, André Bairral, Thiago Monstrinho, Kayke Brito, Otávio Augusto, Álvaro Limeira, Théo Moratti, Bruno Tortorello, Rodrigo Brandão and Fernando Simões.

The event will also feature a sale of charity merchandise, with exclusive items for this show. All proceeds from the merchandise will go to Raphael , Fah's son.
