John Lydon: Fee from 'The Masked Singer' funded new Public Image Ltd album

The lead singer claims he participated in the reality show for the money: "Fun, first and foremost. But mainly, for the money."

John Lydon , former Sex Pistols and frontman of Public Image Ltd ( PiL ), spoke candidly about his recent participation in the UK The Masked Singer

Elsewhere in the conversation, Lydon brought up his previous experience with the format in the United States. In 2021, he participated masked to please his late wife, Nora Foster , who watched the American version of the show.
