John Lennon: glasses and school detention record to be auctioned.

To see the world through Lennon's lens, all you'll need to do is shell out a few thousand euros.

Extremely rare items related to John Lennon and the Beatles will be auctioned soon.

Among them, John's iconic round Windsor glasses , his detention record from Quarry Bank Grammar School in the 1950s, which listed 22 detentions in eight weeks, with some of the justifications relating the Beatle's behavior to laziness, silly attitudes, forgetting books and being late for class.

In addition to Lennon's items, a pair of Cartier glasses belonging to Brian Epstein , his manager and considered the fifth Beatle, and an autographed edition released the day after the launch of the first single, "Love Me Do," will also be up for auction.

The most expensive item in the auction will be Lennon's glasses, with an estimated auction price between 30,000 and 40,000 euros, and the most "affordable" will be his arrest list, worth between 3,000 and 5,000 euros.

The auction takes place from today, the 23rd, until October 1st. Click here to learn more.
