John Dolmayan , drummer for the band System of a Down, surprised the music scene by participating in "ROBOCOP ," a track by MC Lan , which also features the rapper and Brazilian artist Criolo .

The unprecedented collaboration is part of V3NOM Vol. 1 – Eclipse , an album that marks an artistic turning point for Lan, previously known for his funk hits. In an interview with 89, the Rock Radio station , John Dolmayan revealed that he filmed a music video in Brazil with MC Lan and Criolo.

John Dolmayan shared the track on his social media , praising the release. “Incorporating new styles of music is exciting for me, I played on these tracks last year and my friends @mclan and @criolomc did the rest. Hope you enjoy it!”, said the drummer.

Influenced by nu metal, “ROBOCOP” features powerful riffs and sharp lyrics, highlighting Lan's versatility in moving between genres. Dolmayan's participation adds a layer of instrumental aggression reminiscent of the sound of established metal bands.
